Effective date: January 1, 2026. These terms govern use of the Reef Mesh Core website and arrangements for bicycles, accessories, fittings, repairs, and local delivery.

1. Using this website

You may browse the site for personal or legitimate business purposes. Please do not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape private systems, or use our content to mislead customers.

2. Product information

We describe bicycles and accessories as accurately as reasonably possible, including intended use, materials, and listed specifications. Colors, component availability, and stock can change; staff will confirm the current specification before a purchase is finalized.

3. Prices and availability

Prices shown in Japanese yen include the applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. A product enquiry does not reserve stock. A sale is confirmed only when Reef Mesh Core accepts the order or issues a written confirmation.

4. Fittings and recommendations

Our fitting service uses the information you provide and practical test rides to recommend a suitable setup. A fitting is professional retail guidance, not medical advice. You remain responsible for riding within your ability and local traffic rules.

If your commute or cargo needs change materially after a fitting, come back for a quick re-check rather than assuming the original setup still applies.

5. Repairs and workshop work

We will explain proposed work and expected costs before beginning substantial repairs. Hidden damage, corrosion, or unavailable parts may require a revised estimate. We will contact you where practicable before exceeding the agreed scope, rather than billing for work you have not approved.

6. Customer responsibilities

Please provide accurate contact information, collect completed work within the agreed period, and tell us about known damage or modifications. Bicycles left uncollected after reasonable notice may incur storage charges permitted by law.

7. Payment

Payment is due according to the method and timing confirmed for the relevant product or service. We may pause delivery or workshop release where payment has not cleared. We do not store full payment card details in ordinary email or contact forms.

8. Delivery and collection

Local delivery zones, fees, and timing are confirmed individually because Tokyo access conditions vary. Risk transfers when the bicycle is delivered to the agreed recipient or collected from our shop, subject to mandatory consumer protections.

9. Returns and defects

Return and warranty rights depend on the product, purchase channel, and applicable Japanese law. If a bicycle or accessory appears defective, contact us promptly with the purchase details and a description of the issue so we can inspect and propose an appropriate remedy.

Frame and component manufacturers set their own warranty terms, which we pass on unchanged. Componentry we fit ourselves — locks, lights, panniers — is covered by our own 12-month workmanship guarantee against a faulty installation, separate from wear on the part itself.

10. Intellectual property

Reef Mesh Core names, marks, photography, copy, illustrations, and page structure belong to Reef Mesh Core or its licensors. You may view and print reasonable excerpts for personal reference, but may not reproduce or commercially exploit them without written permission.

11. Third-party links

Links to suppliers, maps, or other services are provided for convenience. We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, security, availability, or terms.

12. Liability

We are responsible for losses that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect loss, lost opportunity, or disruption caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights.

13. Changes and contact

We may update these terms when our services change. The latest version is published on this page. Questions may be sent to hello@reef-meshcore.com or 03-3795-4811.

14. Resolving a disagreement

Most issues are settled by bringing the bicycle back for a second look — a torque check or brake adjustment often resolves what feels like a defect. If that does not settle things, either party may bring the matter to the consumer counselling services available under Japanese law before pursuing a formal claim.
